To US Supreme Court:
We write today as members of a National Network of women and mothers who are fighting for dignity and justice in the immigrant communities.
We know that you would be listening the oral arguments on April 18th, 2016 and we stand in solidarity with the millions of immigrant families who need the court to #UnfreezeDAPA!!
More than 6.1 million U.S. citizens in states across the nation live with a family member who will remain in fear of deportation if the Supreme Court rules against DAPA in United States v. Texas.
Under DAPA, we would be able to find jobs that value our talent and experience. Under DAPA, we would be able to live in the U.S. without the fear of being separated from our children and the life we’ve built here.
We already know that DACA, DAPA & expanded DACA would positively impact the economy in every state & benefit every American.
What is the economic impact of DAPA and DACA+?
Economic data demonstrates that DAPA and DACA+ are great for America’s economy! Researchers have found that DAPA & DACA+ would:
Reduce the Federal deficit by $25 billion by 2024
Increase the GDP by $230 billion over 10 years
Result in an additional $805 million paid in state and local taxes
Whereas, data shows that each day DAPA and DACA+ are not unfrozen the U.S. GDP loses $29.9 million. Additionally, conservative economists have found that deporting the U.S. undocumented population would cost $600 billion and cause the U.S. GDP to decrease by $1.7 trillion.
We need to make sure the Supreme Court understands just what is at stake with this case: the future of our families. With expanded DACA and DAPA on hold, millions of families are living in limbo and in fear. Now, we’re making history!.

US Supreme Court: Our prayers would be with you.
